The battle reaches its climax on 23 February at the Bukit Kepong police station, which has only 18 members, when they are attacked by 180 violent communists. Directed by Jins Shamsuddin, "Bukit Kepong" won the Best Film Award in the 3rd Malaysian Film Festival in 1982.
