Even an average girl deserves a second chance. Zheng Xiao Xiang (Janine Chang) may not be the brightest of girls, but she is good-hearted, optimistic, and totally devoted to her loved one. Her humble hope for a happy family is shattered one day when her fiancé (Shiou Jieh Kai) ditches her for his ex-girlfriend (Serena Fang). Still, this hapless, badly broken single mom takes it upon herself to raise the little foster daughter he left behind. In her effort to pick up the pieces of her life, Xiao Xiang crosses paths again with cynical PR firm director Ren Jia Kai (Peter Ho), who has just filed for divorce from his career-minded TV producer wife (Peggy Tseng).
