After the untimely death of his mother, Ah Woo became withdrawn and spends most of his time paddling a table tennis ball against the wall. His best and only friend, Mai Xiao Fen is a national table tennis player coached personally by her mother Mai Tian Tian. However Xiao Fen is dogged by the stigma of always winning fourth place in all competitions, which affected her confidence. Xiao Fen's team mate Zhang Zi Yi takes a liking to Ah Woo and encourages him to play professionally. While everyone else has their doubts, Ah Woo is talent scouted by Lin Da Di, a prominent player in the field but with a set of unorthodox training method. When Ah Woo started winning competitions, everyone took notice. His success caught the attention of He Jia Jun, the best male player in the national team, but how will Ah Woo measure against the best? Will he fulfill his dreams to become a world-class player?
