Synopsis
Season 1:
Fate/Zero takes place 10 years prior to the events of Fate/stay night, detailing the events of the 4th Holy Grail War in Fuyuki City. The War of the Holy Grail is a contest in which seven magi summon seven Heroic Spirits to compete to obtain the power of the "Holy Grail," which grants a miracle. After three inconclusive wars for the elusive Holy Grail, the Fourth War commences.

Season 2:
The Holf Grail War is a death-match between 7 magi (Masters) and their summoned heroic spirits (Servants). In this battle royale, the prize os the legendary Holy Grail, said to be an omnipotent-wish-grantng device which will producw any sort of miracle in order to bend reality to accommodate the wishes it grants. The winning Master and Servant shall be granted one weish each, after which the Holu Grail will not be activated until the next war....
