  • Irving travels to Andalusia impassioned with the idea of visiting the Alhambra. There, he meets up with Dolgoruki, a Russian friend who becomes his travelling companion. Things are complicated when they accidentally meet Carmen. The girl is the last descendent of Boabdil, a Moorish king. She must fulfil an important prophesy which will defeat the wicked Alí, who betrayed King Boabdil to gain control of the land. But he cannot obtain power until the last descendent of Boabdil dies. When Carmen discovers who she is and what she must do, she sets off on a journey to Granada but is abducted by her enemies...
