Synopsis
FA PING (Priscilla Wong), who was often made fun of by the others for being ugly during her childhood, underwent cosmetic surgery in the wake of an accident. Ever since then, she has been firmly convinced that an attractive appearance has a significant impact on one's life, and remains the same after joining the police. Due to a prostitution case involving a finance company suspected of issuing illegal loans in a public housing estate, FA PING and her co-worker of the CID, LAW TAI-SHU (Edwin Siu) are put undercover as a married couple to approach a group of housewives, probing into the matter. Thus, they get to know "The housewives trio", HUNG DAN-DAN (Mandy Wong), SO FUNG-NEI (Leung Ka Ki) and LAU LIN-HEUNG (Rachel Kan). For the investigation, FA PING has to give up wearing make-up and fine clothes and cater to their tastes, without realizing that she herself starts behaving like them. Having disguised himself as a technician, LAW TAI-SHU is dubbed "The Plumber" of the estate, attracting tons of fans. Unexpectedly, this makes FA PING, who used to have a crush on a handsome policeman named YING NAM (Hugo Wong), very jealous, and the quarrelsome pair gradually develop romantic feelings towards each other.

Meanwhile, they discover some suspicious activities of "The housewives trio", causing the police take a closer look at them. Out of the blue, the sudden appearance of a mysterious woman makes the case more dramatic and unpredictable, and their relationship more complicated...
