  • Since Gannon (James Wong) has been swindled of his life savings by his scheming cousin on a ruined site, His crippled daughter May (Joey Wong) takes up the hard task of turning the premise into a supermarket. May is injured in a traffic accident caused by taxi-driver Joe (Chow Yun Fat) who assumes his reckless driving has turned May into a cripple. He then volunteers to help her to set the supermarket. May's grandma pretty likes Joe and wants to match up May and him. After a long chase after, the lovers reconcile and live happily forever.
