Synopsis
In the autumn of 1944 the Japanese military had collapsed into an overwhelmingly disadvantageous battle-situation in the Pacific War. Under the proposal of Vice Admiral Takijiro Onishi (Masato Ibu), Kamikaze units were formed comprising fighter aircraft loaded with 250 kilogram bombs that would conduct suicidal ramming attacks on enemy ships.
