Synopsis
Consist of episode 1 to 21, complete TV series.
Hong Tein Yum is a 50-year-old architect. His wife died early in their marriage thus he raises his 8-year-old son, Hong Sey Hey (Ron Ng). To replace Sey Hey's loss of mother love, Tein Yum tends to let him get away with everything. Tein Yum stresses a lot about what to do with his son. Sey Hey's middle school teacher, Wong Duck Qi was really nice and loving so many students like her. Duck Qi knows that Sey Hey is from a single-parent family so she helps him. She tutors him and helps him be less of a troublesome kid that his father has brang him to be. Tein Yum is touched by her kindness. Duck Qi, thinking that he is a good father; he must be a good husband. Soon after, they get married.
Tein Yum cares a lot for his son and caring Duck Yum gives up her idea for having a baby. She had only one goal now, to take care of Sey Hey and treat him like her own son. (old saying translated here) Being parents are hard, being step-parents are harder. She fears that if she is strict on him, he will not accept her, so she is really lenient with him but they have a close relationship.
