  • A Shinigami, the God of Death, dropped a Death Note in the human world. The human whose name is written in the Death Note shall die. Light Yagami, an extremely bright elite university student, picks up this Death Note and decides to use it to create an ideal world by judging criminals at his discretion.

    Meanwhile, a mysterious detective “L” was placed in the Japanese police force to investigate the deaths. ‘L” well known for his information gathering and reasoning skills, suspects Light Yagami as the cause of the criminals death. However, Light cleverly manipulates the Death Note to shake off the investigation.
