  • Synopsis
  • After the tragedies of the Guo and Yang clans, Guo Jin (Yang Xuwen) and Yang Kang (Chen Xingxu) have been respectively fostered by Seven Freaks of Jiangnan and Qiu Chuji (Shao Feng).

    At Zhiangjiakou, it is love at first sight between Guo Jing and Huang Rong (Li Yitong). When they meet again at Zhongdu, their emotions grow even more intense. But Guo Jing has obligations of an arranged marriage proposal to Hua Zheng (Dai Wenwen), daughter of Genghis Khan, so he has a dilemma over love and morality. Seven Freaks despise Huang Rong. Huang Yaoshi (Michael Miu), Rong's father, thinks Guo Jing is dumb. Guo Jing and Huang Rong are kept apart.

    While Yang Kang is looking for life's direction, he is also going through life-changing events. Yang Kang has strong desire for wealth, but Mu Nianci (Meng Ziyi) has even stronger desire for him, and she just keep clinging.

    Five Great meet their fate at Peach Blossom Island, causing young sweethearts Guo Jing and Huang Rong to turn against each other. They have been through turbulent years of happiness, sadness, separation, reunion, suffering and misfortune. Guo Jing gradually evolves into a patriotic national hero, and also a martial arts master with a character of extraordinary decency and determination.
