Synopsis
This drama is set against the Ming Dynasty under the rule of Emperor Zhu qi Zhen. Tan Yun Xian came from a long line of medical practitioners, her family had been serving as court physicians for several generations. However, the practice for female physicians ground to a halt when many were accused of abusing their authority. Yet, Yun Xian was determined to learn medicine and did so in secrecy - but things became difficult when her path crossed with that of the Emperor himself.
